You may remember me talking about this incredibly strong and beautiful lady, Laura, before. She is running the Auckland Marathon which is now fast approaching, only a few months away. Element magazine just 'ran' (heh heh) a really great article about her story and her cause.
'The goal is to raise $25,000 the first year and $50,000 within five years. The $10,000 Jacob Beck-Jaffurs Memorial Scholarship will be paid over two years. It will be used to support students to get the chances Jacob considered he was fortunate to have had, says Laura.'
